“Meet Preeti Pawar, a dedicated animal rescuer from Katraj, Pune, whose unwavering compassion has saved countless lives. Along with her sister, Suvarna Jadhav, Preeti has rescued, treated, and released over 150 cats and 350 dogs, many of whom have endured severe trauma, including heartbreaking cases of rape and extreme abuse. Her selfless efforts extend to feeding around 100 stray dogs daily, rehabilitating animals who have suffered cruelty, and rescuing those abandoned or kept in horrific conditions by breeders.

Preeti not only provides medical care and emotional support to these animals but also works tirelessly to find them loving forever homes.
